Charles Finkelstein

Charles Finkelstein has served as a Felony Trial Assistant District Attorney in Brooklyn, NY, as an Assistant Special Narcotics Prosecutor in Manhattan and as an Administrative Law Judge for the New York City Department of Finance.

Mr. Finkelstein has been appointed to the Assigned Counsel Panel by the Appellate Division; Second Department. He has experience in New York State Family, Civil and Supreme Courts as well as local Federal Courts. The former manager of a personal injury practice, Mr. Finkelstein, has also taught classes in Criminal Law & Procedure and Business Law & Contracts.

Mr. Finkelstein was recently a candidate for Civil Court Judge for the State of New York where he was found Highly Qualified by the Independent Judicial Election Qualification Commission of the New York Appellate Division, Second Department. He was also approved and found qualified for election as a Civil Court Judge by The Association of the Bar of the City of New York, The Brooklyn Bar Association, and the Metropolitan Black Bar Association.
